Description from sketch post:

Don't ask what brought this on, I'm not sure I can explain. This is how Rusti personifies her demons, coagulated into one...thing. The only thing I can think of that may have precipitated this was Viper's outburst a couple of weeks ago, along with the assertion that everyone has demons. Some wear theirs on their sleeves, some deal with them so well they're hardly noticeable, and some bottle them up, desparate to keep them from running their lives. Rusti would be one of the ones that bottle them up. The result is marginally stable, but not completely. One wrong word, one wrong loss (or being shot by someone) could mean an end to the control, at least temporarily.

Rusti describes her demon. Who she's talking to isn't clear, Viper, Sable, Beast, Kage, Dante, Duke, whomever, whether she's Proteus Rusti or Revved Forward Rusti, the description is the same.

The image may be a bit disturbing for some, and it's not my usual fare, but, enjoy?

Rusti's Description:

"She was a lioness once, solid, beautiful and strong, part of a fighting spirit that still has yet to die. She was half of whole when very young, but was split down the center while still a kitten.

"The more serene half was caged away for ten years while abuse fed the sister. She was no longer one whole huntress. One part of her grew gaunt, thin, scarred and tortured until she was locked way when the abuse finally ended.

"She is still there now, more horrible than she was when a cub. For years she's smouldered in the past. Her frame is still gaunt, long and hungry, her eyes burn green with the flame of hatred, rage and fear. Her claws no longer return to their sheaths. Scars criss-cross her muzzle and she paces her cage with the tireless energy of a predator. She has forgotten love and kindness, for she knew so little of them.

"She is a demon now, gaining fuel with each new hurt, with each unjust loss of a friend or family member. The bars of her cage are perilously weak, and one day, there will come a wound that gives her the final push she needs. She will be a free demon then, and no longer a controlled fury. I will not feel sorry for the soul that sets her loose. They'll get what they deserve.

"Until then, she simply waits, and watches."
